This new Yamaha KYB kit converts your WP air forks to KYB spring forks with the latest 25mm cartridges right out of a current model YZ450f. These cartridges come with the new "trampoline valve" that many suspension turners recommend. Furthermore we prefer to re-use the stock forks lugs modified with our lug conversion kit (P.N.: KT-KYB00-KT complete with hybrid bottoming cones - $149) over the billet ones offered by our competitors. Yes the billet lugs look cool, but from a performance standpoint we prefer the flex of the stock forged ones. What's included in our kit: 2024 KYB 25mm cartridges with trampoline mid valve, YZF fork cap assemblies, rebound housings, bottoming cone o-rings and hardware. Springs not included. What's included in our competitor's kit: 2017 KYB 24mm cartridges, old spring float mid valve, KX250 fork cap assembly and springs. NOTE: for riders interested in having the kit installed any suspension tuner of your choice can purchase these kits from us. Your price is $1750 complete with springs and labor for your weight and riding ability (does not include optional special coatings or shipping). You will be shipping your forks (and shock if you want it revalved for an extra charge) directly to the suspension tuner of your choice. When they receive your forks, they will order all the components from us. They will also order the right springs for your weight. DO NOT purchase these components from our website, the suspension shop will coordinate everything.
